A warm welcome to the official website of Graham Hurd - composer and retired web designer.
On a personal note, I would like to thank Mario Parga for encouraging me to take up composing again after a 10 year period of inactivity, after most of my music was stolen. Without his kind words and encouragement I would probably have never written another note... thanks Mario.

| Korg M1 revived |
After 17 years, the battery finally failed in my M1 a couple of days ago. Now that's what I call value for money from a battery (Sony CR2032 if anyone's interested).
Replaced the battery today... pretty straight forward really. Be warned that the bottom panel had more screws than a 10 dollar whore, but once that was finally off it was only a matter of undoing the motherboard screws, tilting the board up, then sliding the old battery out and sliding the new one in.
So, my main inputting keyboard is alive again, and I can continue writing more new material. I wonder how long the new battery will last...
